Even those who do not follow football can remember the anthem of the previous World Cup (2010), titled „Waka Waka“ and performed by attractive and world-famous Shakira, who is the wife of soccer player Pique. American rapper Pitbull, in collaboration with three other artists, wrote the lyrics and music for the anthem of this year’s World Cup, of course in Latin rhythms. However, this version of football anthem is not so universal and has three versions – in Portuguese, Spanish and English. At the opening of the World Cup, at the stadium „Maracana“ in Rio de Janeiro, the anthem of the World Cup will be performed by Jennifer Lopez, Brazilian singer Leite and Pitbull.

The song has not appeared in public yet, and publishing rights belong to Sony Music.
